Position description:

We are looking for an organized, analytical, energetic and dependable individual to support Head of Oncology, Research and several of our Scientists. A key accountability will be anticipating work processes and resolving operational and administrative issues before, and as, they arise. Our candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up environment where collaboration is key to building both the organization and the culture. You will manage a variety of projects simultaneously, which requires strong multi-tasking skills, savvy business judgment and the communication skills needed to effectively interact with a variety of people and job functions.


  • Perform an extensive array of administrative tasks (complex calendaring, book travel, expense reporting within Concur, track and organize business agreements, coordinate large onsite meetings for external visitors)
  • Serve as a lead for and manager of small projects
  • Build efficiency and responsiveness into existing operations, and help define new operational strategies
  • Partner with other administrative staff to ensure all team members are supported and administrative tasks are managed

Position requirements:

  • 5 years of work experience in relevant field
  • Superior organizational, administrative, and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well independently and collaboratively
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow detailed directions with accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar, spelling, and editing
  • A positive can-do attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to gracefully handle confidential and time-sensitive duties

Preferred qualifications:

  • 4-year Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Experience in a start-up and/or biotech, medical or academic environment
